Another student of the Portland Accordion Center, Sean Kennedy, got to meet Weird Al Yankovic! Sean met Al after a concert he attended in Minneapolis on April 3rd, 2018. We’re a bit late posting this, but better late than never!

Nicholas at age 5 started lessons this month. He has now had his second lesson. He’s cute and fun to teach, and so far, he looks forward to turning to that next page each week to see what lies ahead!

One of our students, Violet, had the honor of meeting the illustrious Weird Al Yankovic! Violet mentioned to us that Weird Al inspired her to learn the accordion. Al told Violet that he learned to play the accordion from the Palmer Hughes books – the very same books...

We had the pleasure of renting out a Petosa accordion to a young gentleman named Richard Szewczyk. He’s played accordion for most of his life, and remarked that the Petosa was the nicest accordion he’s ever played! Richard lives in Perth, West Australia....
